PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The heavy-duty self-retracting fall arrester (SRL), also called a retractable lifeline or self-locking descender, automatically arrests a fall within a very short distance. A steel or synthetic lifeline pays out and retracts freely as the worker moves, keeping the slack to a minimum; in the event of a slip, a centrifugal braking mechanism locks the drum instantly and an energy absorber limits the impact force. With 10-, 20- and 30-metre lengths available, it is widely used on tower cranes, goods lifts, construction hoists, steel structures and industrial maintenance where vertical mobility and reliable fall protection are required.
