PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The FJZ four-split spacer damper is a key fitting for EHV/UHV transmission lines that use four conductors per phase (quad bundle). It maintains the prescribed spacing between the four sub-conductors and, through its articulated rubber-damped frame, dissipates wind-induced aeolian vibration and sub-span oscillation while allowing limited conductor movement. The body is cast from high-strength, corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy, with elastomer-damped clamps that grip each sub-conductor without damaging the strands. The open, streamlined frame also minimizes corona and radio interference at high voltage.
