PRODUCT SHORT DESCRIPTION
Telescopic fiberglass hot stick with 3-section 4m and 4-section 6m versions, locking anti-release buttons for switch operation and live-line maintenance. High-voltage insulated, lightweight and moisture-proof.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The telescopic fiberglass insulating hot stick, also called an operating rod or link stick, is used by line crews to operate disconnect switches, fuse cutouts and grounding equipment from a safe distance. The rod is built from multiple triangular or round fiberglass-epoxy tubes that telescope and lock with positive snap buttons, available in 3-section 4-metre and 4-section 6-metre configurations for different voltage levels. An anti-release locking design prevents sections from accidentally separating during push-and-pull operation. Its high mechanical strength, excellent dielectric performance and light weight make it suitable for both indoor substations and outdoor overhead line work.
Key Features
• Multi-Section Telescoping — Choose 3-section/4m or 4-section/6m to match the required safe working distance.
• Positive Button Lock — Spring snap buttons engage firmly; the anti-release design stops sections from slipping apart.
• Premium Fiberglass-Epoxy — High-density tubes offer high dielectric strength, low water absorption and a smooth finish.
• All-Weather Insulation — Moisture-proof, UV-resistant and ageing-resistant for reliable outdoor service.
• Lightweight & Balanced — Thin-wall tubes reduce arm fatigue during repeated overhead operation.
• Universal Working Head — Standard universal fitting accepts switch hooks, fuse pullers, brush heads and more.
• Non-Slip Grip — Contoured rubber handle and end cap provide a secure, insulated hold in wet gloves.
• Tested to HV Standards — Manufactured and tested to IEC 60855 / GB/T 13398 for insulating foam-filled and hollow tubes.
