PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The silicone rubber transformer bushing cover set is a three-piece insulating protection kit that fits over the high-voltage bushings (terminal heads) of outdoor distribution transformers. Each cover is molded from high-temperature-vulcanized silicone rubber in a boot shape that encloses the live connector, preventing accidental contact, animal bridging and pollution- or rain-induced flashover. The covers also shield the connection from corrosion and ice. A set of three covers the three HV phase terminals of a typical distribution transformer and is widely used on pole-mounted and pad-mounted transformers.
