The RW11 and RW12 series outdoor AC high-voltage drop-out fuses are the most widely used protection devices on 10kV distribution lines and pole-mounted transformers. They provide reliable overload and short-circuit protection: when the fuse element melts due to overcurrent, the fuse tube automatically drops under gravity, creating a visible isolation gap and clear fault indication. The tube can be easily opened with an insulating operating rod for fuse replacement without dismantling the device.
