The FRP cable explosion-proof box is a protective enclosure designed to cover high-voltage cable joints, straight splices and terminations. In the event of cable joint insulation breakdown, the box contains the resulting arc, flame and blast energy, preventing injury to personnel and limiting damage to adjacent cables and equipment. Molded from high-strength fiberglass-reinforced polymer, it combines explosion containment with waterproofing, fire resistance and corrosion protection.
