PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The aluminum-wheel stringing block is a heavy-duty sheave used for pulling overhead conductors, ground wires and cable on transmission and distribution projects. Its machined aluminum-alloy sheave combines high strength with light weight and a smooth, deep groove that supports the conductor over wide spans. The steel frame is offered in seat-mounted, seat/hook dual-use, hook-mounted and sky-facing styles for attachment to cross-arms, tower arms and hooks. A precision steel pin and bushing ensure free rotation under heavy pulling loads, making it suited to larger conductors and reconductoring work.
