PRODUCT DESCRIPTION<\/p>\n
The telescopic fiberglass insulating hot stick, also called an operating rod or link stick, is used by line crews to operate disconnect switches, fuse cutouts and grounding equipment from a safe distance. The rod is built from multiple triangular or round fiberglass-epoxy tubes that telescope and lock with positive snap buttons, available in 3-section 4-metre and 4-section 6-metre configurations for different voltage levels. An anti-release locking design prevents sections from accidentally separating during push-and-pull operation. Its high mechanical strength, excellent dielectric performance and light weight make it suitable for both indoor substations and outdoor overhead line work.<\/p>\n
