PRODUCT SHORT DESCRIPTION

Set of 3 silicone rubber insulating bushing boot covers for outdoor HV transformer terminals and surge-arrester heads. Weatherproof, animal-proof, anti-tracking, easy fit.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The silicone rubber transformer bushing cover set is a three-piece insulating protection kit that fits over the high-voltage bushings (terminal heads) of outdoor distribution transformers. Each cover is molded from high-temperature-vulcanized silicone rubber in a boot shape that encloses the live connector, preventing accidental contact, animal bridging and pollution- or rain-induced flashover. The covers also shield the connection from corrosion and ice. A set of three covers the three HV phase terminals of a typical distribution transformer and is widely used on pole-mounted and pad-mounted transformers.

Key Features

• Three-Phase Set — Three covers protect the HV bushings of a standard distribution transformer.

• Contact & Animal Protection — Boot encloses the live terminal to prevent accidental touch and animal bridging.

• Flashover Prevention — Silicone insulation and shed profile resist rain, pollution and bird-streamer flashover.

• Premium HTV Silicone — Hydrophobic, anti-tracking and weather-resistant compound for long outdoor life.

• Corrosion Shield — Protects the connector and bushing threads from rain, salt and ice.

• Easy Slip-On Fit — Flexible boot installs over the terminal without dismantling the connector.

• Wide Temperature Range — Stays flexible in freezing cold and stable under heat load.

• Color-Coded — Available in phase colors for clear identification of the three terminals.
