PRODUCT SHORT DESCRIPTION

Silicone rubber rain shield / weather cap for 10kV earthing rods, insulators, link sticks and voltage detectors. Shed-style drip cover, anti-tracking, easy slip-on fit.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The silicone rubber rain cover is a weatherproof accessory fitted over the top of earthing rods, post insulators, fuse cutouts, link sticks and voltage detectors on 10kV overhead equipment. Molded as a shed-style skirt in high-temperature-vulcanized silicone rubber, it sheds rainwater away from the live connection and prevents a continuous conductive water film from forming, which reduces the risk of flashover and pollution flashover in wet weather. The flexible cover simply slips over the fitting and resists UV, ozone and ageing for years of outdoor service.

Key Features

• Rain Flashover Protection — The shed skirt breaks water streams and prevents a conductive film in wet weather.

• Premium HTV Silicone — High-temperature-vulcanized silicone offers excellent hydrophobicity and insulation.

• Anti-Tracking Surface — Shed design lengthens the creepage path and resists pollution tracking.

• Slip-On Installation — Flexible cover fits quickly over rods, insulators and detector heads without tools.

• UV & Ozone Resistant — Stable silicone compound withstands prolonged sunlight and outdoor exposure.

• Wide Temperature Range — Remains flexible in cold winters and stable in high summer temperatures.

• 10 kV Accessory — Sized for common 10kV distribution fittings and equipment.

• Reusable & Tough — Tear-resistant silicone can be removed and refitted during maintenance.
