The JGH aluminum single-core cable cleat is a heavy-duty cable support fitting used to secure high-voltage single-core power cables in cable tunnels, substations, industrial plants and riser shafts. The cleat is machined or cast from high-strength, non-magnetic aluminum alloy, which avoids the eddy-current heating that occurs when magnetic clamps surround single-core AC cables. A two-part body with bolts clamps the cable firmly at set intervals, holding it against the electromagnetic forces generated during a short circuit while allowing thermal expansion.
