PRODUCT DESCRIPTION<\/p>\n
Phenolic cotton-cloth laminated sheet, commonly called cloth-grade bakelite or fabric laminate, is made by layering cotton cloth impregnated with phenolic resin and curing it under pressure. The result is a tough, wear-resistant engineering material with good mechanical strength, damping and electrical insulation. The red\/brown sheet is easily machined into gears, rollers, pads, support plates and tea-tray panels, and is valued over paper-grade bakelite for parts that need higher toughness and lower noise under load.<\/p>\n
